Carmi Man Sentenced Monday to State Prison on Two Charges

CARMI – A Carmi man was sentenced in White County Court Monday to state prison on two charges.

According to White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud, 32-year-old Shiloh W. Walden will spend six years in prison and serve one year of mandatory supervised release for Aggravated Battery, a Class 3 felony and six years in prison and serve one year of mandatory supervised release for Unlawful Use of Property, a Class 2 felony.

Aud says Walden was originally on probation for Aggravated Battery when he was arrested in June of this year by the Carmi Police Department for the Unlawful Use of Property methamphetamine offense.
