Williamson County Circuit Clerk Resigns to Take New Job at SIU

MARION – Williamson County’s Circuit Clerk is leaving her post to take a position at SIU. The Williamson County Board Tuesday accepted Angie Elliott Kochan’s resignation at their meeting. According to the Southern Illinoisan, it did not say what position Kochan is taking at SIU or when her last day as Circuit Clerk will be.

Two Ramps on I-24 in Massac County to Close for Bridge Repairs Tuesday

METROPOLIS – Ramp closures will begin Tuesday at the New Columbia/Big Bay interchange on I-24 in Massac County, weather permitting, for bridge repairs.
