Jefferson County Sheriff’s Report – Wednesday, October 9

MT. VERNON – On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests.

Thirty-two-year-old Desiree Huston of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for resisting/obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct.

Forty-three-year-old Jonathon Lingo of Salem was arrested Tuesday for identity theft between $2,000 and $10,000.

Twenty-three-year-old Shellena Mandrell of Centralia was arrested Tuesday for burglary.

Thirty-four-year-old Douglas Dearing of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Tuesday for violating an order of protection.

Twenty-three-year-old Zachary Tate of Marion was arrested by Illinois State Police Tuesday for driving on a suspended license.

Forty-two-year-old Johnny Jones of Dix was arrested Tuesday for felon in possession of a firearm and two counts of possession of meth less than 5 grams.

Thirty-nine-year-old Brandon Rice of Mt. Vernon was arrested Tuesday for DUI.
